Job Description

Firespring is looking for our next amazing human to join our team. We are renowned for our innovative creative, marketing, printing and technology solutions to help businesses and nonprofits prosper. In this spirit, we seek a dynamic creative director to lead our creative team towards new horizons. 

As our creative director, you will guide and inspire creative team members while collaborating with other leaders. You'll wear multiple hats as a leader and manager, jumping in to work on pitches and products. Facilitating a creative and inviting work environment is one of your most honorable talents. Creating a vibrant and collaborative work environment comes naturally to you, and you excel at fostering trust while serving as a valuable sounding board for creative endeavors.  Your forward-thinking vision will shape the team’s direction, making you the go-to expert from concept ideation to the latest trends in marketing and advertising.

Communication is your forte; you strike the right balance between speaking and listening. You articulate ideas with clarity and adaptability, making complex concepts easily understandable. Presenting Firespring’s work to potential clients, peers and leadership is not just a task, but an exciting opportunity to showcase the exceptional talents of your team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a talented team of creatives, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders, including sales and support teams, to ensure alignment and successful project execution. 
• Champion Firespring’s creative vision, guiding projects from conceptualization to final deliverables with excellence. 
• Author creative project briefs, define scopes, and assist in estimating project costs. 
• Present Firespring’s work persuasively to clients, stakeholders, and leadership, showcasing the team’s capabilities and achievements. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a leader in a creative team, with a track record of successful project execution. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality. 
• Strong knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends, coupled with the ability to innovate and adapt strategies accordingly. 
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment. 
• Adept at providing clarity and direction amidst ambiguity, with a proactive problem-solving mindset. 
• 5-7 years of agency experience.
