What are the responsibilities and job description for the Replenisher 3rd shift position at Firmenich?
Key Responsibilities:
Operate department scales and computer systems in order to accurately and properly replenish flavor and fragrance chemicals and materials in a precise manner. Chemicals and materials to be replenished will be in the various states of liquid, solid and powder.
Verify in SAP age and quality of all materials used in replenishments
Utilize a computer to obtain raw and finished materials for replenishing.
Ensure understanding of all safety, quality and operational procedures, in order to utilize tools, equipment, electronic/computer systems in replenishing.
Ensure proper ventilation is utilized when pouring raw materials/chemicals or finished goods.
Follow Material Flow, safety and quality procedures to verify and record information during replenishing.
Ensure safe operation of forklift and all drum handling equipment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience handling chemicals.
Proficient in Inventory, Warehousing, and Manufacturing.
Minimum 1-3 years of inventory and chemical manufacturing.
Knowledge of operating a Forklift
