This position is responsible for researching issues, analyzing data, designing & developing solutions, documentation, and supporting system environments as assigned by the department manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform development and testing of simple and complex solutions.
Research technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
Write queries, analyze, and report on data across various data sources.
Create support, system level, and end user documentation.
Manage assignments following the software development life cycle, change management, and ticket procedures.
Maintain effective working relationships with data center and business representatives.
Provide timely status updates on assigned work to project and department managers.
Responsible for designing solutions for existing systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in related field preferred.
Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the IT industry required.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply concepts quickly.
Sharp analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in programming required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Competent in more than one programming language.
Competent with writing SQL queries and scripts.
Competent with Microsoft Office developer tool products.
Minimal travel to branches and training facilities may be necessary.
Typical business hours are an 8 hours period between 7 AM and 6 PM Monday through Friday.
Available for off hours support and working approximately one Saturday per month.
