What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Signer position at First American?
What You'll Do:
* Take signatures from customers and notarize documents.
* Must be professional in the presentation of loan documents, such as the note, settlement statement and Deed of Trust and remain confidential and professional. Give a brief explanation of what the document is that is being executed.
* Refer all questions or concerns to Escrow Officers. This position should not offer advice on processes or procedures.

Typical Education
* High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Typical Range of Experience
* Must have some background knowledge of mortgage lending business.
* Possess basic real estate/escrow/title terminology.
* 1-year related experience reviewing and notarizing documents.
License or Certification
* Must be a notary public.
* Requires a valid driver's license.
