What We DoThe Program Management role is responsible for managing a team of project managers, leading highly visible, sensitive, and multi-faceted projects and programs that deliver and meet First American Information Security process and technology requirements. The Program Manager partners closely with business and technical teams to gather insights, understand current technology and processes, challenges, and opportunities to support the delivery of Information Security solutions. Works with InfoSec leadership team to develop, prioritize, and report progress on the portfolio of projects. Works closely with technology and other cross functional leadership teams to determine plans for implementation and delivery of projects and programs, as well as resourcing and budgeting of the portfolio. Uses their deep knowledge of technology, processes, methodologies, and principles to lead the team of project managers and projects to successful outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of project managers, portfolio of projects, and programs/projects typically of large size and complexity.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team, portfolio, and project management.
  • Coaches, guides, and develops the project management team through planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting of projects and programs in accordance with best practices.
  • Establish program governance, develop program plan, scope, schedule, and portfolio roadmap.
  • Works with InfoSec leadership team to develop, prioritize, and report progress on the portfolio of projects.
  • Works closely with technology and other cross functional leadership teams to determine plans for implementation and delivery of projects and programs, resourcing, and budgeting of the portfolio. Report and escalate in a timely manner to the appropriate audience.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings including preparing agendas, coordinating schedules and materials, documenting meeting minutes, following up on action items, gathering, organizing, and distributing project, program, and portfolio related documentation.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of program/project work plans.
  • Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with project methodology to ensure successful execution of the portfolio, program, and projects as measured by InfoSec goals and objectives.
  • Conduct risk monitoring, controls, and timely communication and escalation of resource, portfolio, and projects to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Comply with and enforces standard policies and procedures.
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience with leading a team of technical project managers of various levels and ability to motivate, coach, and develop the team through project management and organizational best practices.
  • Conceptual understanding of current technologies and methodologies and business processes to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors.
  • Experience with reports and analytics and ability to develop and maintain program and portfolio reporting.
  • Experience rationalizing data and defining and interpreting metrics and KPIs.
  • Must be highly analytical, quality, and detailed oriented. Possess critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Strong organizational and portfolio, program, and project management skills
  • Experience with process improvements, streamlining and automation.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately within time constraints.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with other leadership and team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated; self-starter
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent project or staff related problems, and focus both on long-range and immediate results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • BS/BA Required
  • MBA or MS/MA preferred
  • Typically have 12 years of directly related experience.
  • 2 - 3 years or more program management experience
  • 2 - 3 years or more experience managing direct reports
  • PMP Certificate Required
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) Preferred

  • Pay Range: $94,798 - $152,900 Annually

    This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
