Summary:  Supports Deposit Operations with various aspects of Internet Banking and Treasury Management technology.  Will recommend electronic banking solutions and assist with Internet Banking and Mobile Banking set-up and maintenance for customers.  Assists SBA and Corporate clients with electronic Treasury Management services, including but not limited to ACH, online wires, Positive Pay, remote deposit, and merchant services.  Must be professional, detail-oriented, and willing to educate customers about the electronic banking product line offered by First Bank of the Lake.  Will perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Deposit Operations Lead. 

Job Functions:

  • Research and approve/decline Electronic Banking and Treasury Management New Account Add Requests and/or New Service Application submissions.
  • Initiate underwriting requests for some Treasury Management applications.
  • Send Welcome Letters to newly approved Electronic Banking and Treasury Management applicants.
  • Provide onboarding support for new Electronic Banking and Treasury Management customers.
  • Act as an internal subject-matter expert to assist FBOL employees with Electronic Banking and Treasury Management questions.
  • Research and approve/decline Electronic Banking and Treasury Management External Transfer Add Requests.
  • Assist clients with Positive Pay upload files.  Ability to review and approve Positive Pay batch files.
  • Research/respond to Electronic Banking and Treasury Management inquiries.
  • Monitor and resolve Online Banking Billpay cases in CheckFree PartnerCare.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining Electronic Banking, Treasury Management, and ACH contracts for annual renewal.
  • Remove electronic access for charged-off or closed accounts.
  • Print Reports as needed to support Electronic Banking and Treasury Management services.
  • Comply with all bank policies, regulations, and laws applicable to duties and responsibilities.
  • Must complete all required training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-money Laundering training, suitable to their position within the bank. 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge and experience with operating a computer (including MS product suite), calculator, and other general office equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with financial technology, including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, ACH, Online Wires, Positive Pay, External Transfers, merchant services, etc.
  • Ability to remain current on financial Electronic Services and Treasury Management fraud mitigation.
  • Ability to cross-train other FBOL employees on Electronic Banking and Treasury Management services.
  • Excellent social and communication skills:
    • Use professional and clear verbal communication skills.
    • High-quality writing skills, using accurate word usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all written correspondence.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and commit to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor while under stress.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and written instructions, as well as verbal instructions or directions from a Supervisor.
  • Ability to quickly alternate tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain diplomacy and confidentiality. 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
