AVP Loan Servicing Mgr-Loan Operations

Position Purpose As the Loan Servicing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, responsible overall loan servicing management and oversight of the commercial, consumer, and mortgage loan servicing staff. This includes servicing, accounting, reporting functions, and customer service. Will design and administer system processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing: leads, trains, and supervises the servicing staff; will ensure department meets organizational goals. Communicates with bank departments managers/officers to promote efficient and correct workflow, establish positive working relationships across the organizations.    Key Responsibilities Loan Servicing Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the loan servicing department, ensuring that all loans are serviced accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Staff Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a team of loan servicing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Operational Excellence: Ensure that operational procedures are not only efficient but also risk adjusted to meet our commitment to effective customer service. Process Design and Administration: Develop, implement, and administer system processes and procedures to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of loan servicing activities. Risk Management: Administer and maintain policies, procedures, and risk assessments related to the loan servicing department, ensuring we me all regulatory requirements. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all servicing activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, and provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management. Customer Service: Manage customer inquiries and issues related to loan servicing, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and resolved promptly. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other bank departments to streamline processes, promote efficient workflows, and establish positive working relationships across the organization. Performance Management: Set performance goals for the loan servicing team and monitor progress towards achieving these goals. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to staff. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance department efficiency and service quality. Education/Training High school diploma or GED equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred Detailed knowledge of lending products, including commercial, residential, and consumer. 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience and relevant loan operations management experience preferred. 5 years of banking experience Practical problem-solving experience and dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
