Job Title: Staffing Coordinator
Department: Operations
Reports To: Branch Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that our customers staffing needs are met with employees who best meet their workforce/staffing needs, by undertaking a variety of tasks such as recruitment, orientation and placement of employees. The coordinator will also be responsible for complying with all client requirements regarding employment while ensuring First Call staffing requirements are always met and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities
Liaising with clients to fill vacancies in a timely manner.
Identifies key matches between candidates and clients to fill job openings.
Responsible for organizing and scheduling workers to ensure that the client is fully staffed on each shift.
Responsible for recruiting via job boards, social media, texting, emailing and phone.
Responsible for screening, qualifying, hiring, and scheduling candidates.
Works with the Human Resources Department to assist by scheduling orientations and organizing work opportunities with new employees.
Ensure compliance with all company and client requirements
Responsible for maintaining client relations
Responsible for client reporting
Responsible for processing weekly payroll for employees and tracking absences
Responsible for coaching and counseling
Responsible for document management of workers comp injuries and investigations.
Responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of “ready to work” candidates
Responsible for tracking daily Key Performance Indicators
Individual must be able to function independently/autonomously, offer solutions to identified service gaps but know when to involve management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Able to work in a team environment to accomplish needed result for applicant, employee and/or client
1 years of hiring and onboarding experience in a fast pace, high volume environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, using sound judgment.
Able to foster relationships with both employees and clients.
Excellent communicator through verbal and written correspondence.
Computer skills a must. Excel, Word, Outlook
