Position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to patients in a skilled care facility. The LPN will perform various tasks to assist with daily care and will be flexible with their work to include daily activities.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the physician.
- Assist in determining patient treatment options and goals of care.
- Provide routine patient examinations, administer medications, and provide treatment as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist physician in performing procedures as directed by physicians.
- Administer medications and provide treatment as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by physician or facility manager.
- Ensure that all patient care records are completed in a timely manner in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all clinical laboratory results are completed in a timely manner in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all patient records are maintained within clinical laboratory according to established policies and procedures.
- Follow established policies and procedures of First Choice Home Health and the Florida Department of Health Services (DHHS).
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including people with disabilities.
- Ability to read, write, & communicate in English.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills: * Ability to follow instructions accurately and effectively use clinical documentation guidelines in written form.
- Knowledge of nursing process steps (i.e., assessment, preparation of charts, administration of medications).
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
