FCS is actively seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician for their top client in the Phoenixville, PA area. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity, with an company that's recognized for being a "Top 1% of Best Companies" to work for, and a leader in designing, manufacturing, purchase for resale and distribution of portable lighting equipment and solutions used in Military, Law Enforcement, Industrial, and Automotive applications.
POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Electronics Test Technician is responsible for supporting the Engineering department in testing of electronic products to company and industry related standards.
Qualified candidates should have experience in performing lay-outs, construction, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Associate Degree is highly preferred, with a minimum of 5years of professional experience testing electronic parts and components including LEDs, batteries, charging circuitry, microprocessors, PCBs, reflectors, switches, DC converters, etc.
- Experience in utilizing RF, EMI / EMC test equipment and testing procedures to measure and analyze components.
- Ability to test set-up, measurements, instrument verification / calibration, and data collection for operational and EMI / EMC testing.
- Knowledge of lumen and candlepower measurements.
- Experience soldering SMT and through-hole components.
- Understanding and experience supporting ANSI, CE, EMC, EN, and other RF / ESD industry standards.
