Child Care Worker

The child care worker hours:

During the school year (September- the end of May): Sundays from 8:30am-12:30pm

During the summer (June - the end of August): Sundays from 9:30am-11:30am

Special Services (variable)

Duties and Responsibilities

● Provide responsible care for children

● Uphold all safety standards

● Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment

● Maintain a professional attitude, respecting family privacy at all times

● Provide structure and accountability in a compassionate fashion

● Help children with toileting/diaper changes as needed

● Encourage children to participate in activities

● Instruct families of the check in process

● Have families fill out the Information form upon arriving for the first time

● Sanitize all toys weekly

Requirements and Qualifications

● Must be at least 18 years of age

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs

● A positive attitude while on the job is essential

● Must be able to pass a criminal background check

● Current CPR and First Aid certifications required

Education

A High School diploma is preferred.

Experience

Preferred qualifications would include a minimum of 1 year childcare experience.

This position reports to the Director of Child and Family Ministries.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week

Work Location: In person
