Assistant Teacher

One position is part time Monday-Friday working 12:00PM - 6:00PM. Primary role is to assist infant classroom and help school community with closing responsibilities. The second position is full time Monday-Friday working 7:30am-4:30 pm as an assistant infant teacher.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support and guidance to children in the classroom
- Help create a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and development
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play

- Closing Duties:

-ensure children go home safely.

-Work as a team member to ensure rooms and school are clean, supplies restocked and ready for the next day.

Skills:
- Classroom experience, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to assist with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
- Proficiency in math concepts for early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to manage a classroom of young children and maintain a positive learning environment
- Passion for educating and nurturing young children

Note: Experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting is highly desirable.
