SUMMARY:  First Flight's mission is to help our members achieve financial success. The role of Teller I at First Flight is critical to the company mission as the teller will accurately and efficiently process member transactions while providing top-level member service. The Teller I will proactively engage members and identify opportunities for loan and deposit referrals that will better serve the member while accurately handling cash and responding to their needs.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accurately process cash and check deposits along with cash withdrawals for members
  • Accept loan and credit card payments
  • Provide account balances and process transfers as requested by members
  • Process money orders and wire transfers according to company procedures
  • Warmly greet members as they enter the branch 
  • Engage members and identify potential referral opportunities for deposit accounts and loans
  • Process night deposits
  • Maintain cash drawer and balance daily
  • Buy and sell cash to the vault as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned by managers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience is required.
  • Previous Bank Teller experience a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to navigate a MS Windows based system.
  • Proactive member service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work comfortably in busy settings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to members and identify potential needs.
  • Accurate cash handling skills while performing transactions efficiently.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
