President

Summary: Under the administration direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the functional direction of the Board of Directors, this position is responsible for directing and overseeing all the Sales and Insurance efforts. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring compliance policy objectives are met. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position
• Develop and implement the overall marketing and business development plans adopted by the bank
• Support the implementation of the strategy plan
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for MIS supporting marketing
• Provide leadership and direction in assisting other members of the executive team in formulating strategies and tactics to ensure the Bank meets its dual bottom-line focus
• Serve as a member of the Executive Committee
• Manage the leasing, tenant improvements, and maintenance of the bank’s facilities
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for assigned business units
• Manage special project team efforts to achieve approved strategic and tactical plans
• Prepare monthly and quarterly deposit activity and portfolio condition reports for the Board of Directors, committees, and regulatory agencies
• Serve as the Chairman of the Compliance Committee.  Serve as a member of the Executive Committee, Asset and Liability Management Committee, and the Information Technology Committee
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:                                                     

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing Administration, or related field required; higher degree preferred
• Minimum of 20 years of related experience required
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role required  

Skills:

• Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information
• Technological-based skills consistent with related area 
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
• Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives
