First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk IV to join our Controller’s Division team. In this role, you’ll be responsible to review payment requests and process payments to vendors and employees. Record Interoffice Settlements, corrections, and check reimbursements into the Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems. Research inquiries and variances. Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager with various projects.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is $19.23 - $22.50/hr; commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
- years experience in Accounts Payable, using an automated Accounts Payable system integrated with General Ledger and other applications (fixed assets, inventory), and application of generally accepted accounting principles required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word and Excel).
- Able to type 40 wpm and use a 10-key by touch.
- Possess effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a team with minimal supervision.
- Possess organizational skills; able to prioritize.
- Possess high attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure.
