Job Description
First Health Hospice Inc is seeking a Chaplain to provide pastoral care to veterans and their families. The Chaplain will be responsible for providing pastoral care to all people of Oak Brook, IL. The Chaplain will also be responsible for the coordination of pastoral services for military personnel and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide pastoral care to all people of Oak Brook, IL.
Coordinate pastoral services for military personnel and their families.
Serve as a spiritual leader for all people of Oak Brook, IL.
Serve as a mentor to military personnel.
Serve as a resource for military personnel and their families.
Perform regular spiritual care visits with military personnel and their families.
Provide counseling services to veterans, including counseling on basic needs such as food, shelter, and water.
Counsel veterans on basic needs, including counseling on relationship issues, employment, and housing issues.
Provide counseling on personal development issues, including self-development, career development, and personal development activities.
Serve as an advocate for veterans when appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Chaplain.
Skills Required
Knowledge of all faiths and practice.
Knowledge of human resources management or organizational management principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to build relationships with others at all levels of an organization in order to foster mutual respect, goodwill, goodwill toward others, honesty, integrity, and cooperation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
