Qualifications
Commercial Fire Alarm Sales representative with experience working with Contractors, property managers and building owners.
Must be familiar New York City and Long Island Building Codes
The typical experience for candidates should be between 5-10 years in end-user sales of commercial fire alarm systems, as well as parts and smarts sales to electrical contractors.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
NICET certifications a plus
Responsibilities
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
Keep up to date with current codes and standards
Build new relationships and identify the prospects' need for our products and services
Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status using company CRM
Prepare necessary proposals, paperwork and contracts as outlined by management.
