Qualifications

  • Commercial Fire Alarm Sales representative with experience working with Contractors, property managers and building owners.
  • Must be familiar New York City and Long Island Building Codes
  • The typical experience for candidates should be between 5-10 years in end-user sales of commercial fire alarm systems, as well as parts and smarts sales to electrical contractors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • NICET certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Keep up to date with current codes and standards
  • Build new relationships and identify the prospects' need for our products and services
  • Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status using company CRM
  • Prepare necessary proposals, paperwork and contracts as outlined by management.
