A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MITIGATION MANAGER
As a Mitigation Manager, you are responsible for the overall operations strategy to achieve the objectives of First Onsite. You lead, motivate, and direct teams while adhering to construction and company standards, maintaining quality control assurance, and enforcing Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. With your advanced understanding of project financials, you monitor margins, job progress, and costs, communicating any changes to leaders. Your crisis management and conflict resolution abilities are instrumental in handling challenging situations. In addition, your technical knowledge of drying and remediation equipment will play a crucial role in successful project execution.
With your outstanding communication skills and professionalism, you build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders. You oversee daily operations, documentation, and communication for projects and contribute to the solicitation of work from Insurance Brokers, Adjusters, Risk Management, and commercial end users in partnership with the sales team. QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 8 years of restoration/construction industry or equivalent industry experience
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience required
- Intermediate in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements and industry policies and procedures
- Expertise of budgeting and cost control
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Time and Materials billing
- Understand how to interpret blueprints, requests and manage permits
- Five years of Management experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must manage working in a busy, service-oriented team under stress to meet deadlines, deal with competing priorities, and demanding service requirements
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends and able to respond 24/7
- May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments and conditions. Travel may be required
