We work with our clients to restore their properties. Our team restores commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and educational properties from water damage, floods, fire, smoke, and natural disasters.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
As the Restoration Assistant Project Manager, I am in the primary position of coordinating, assigning, and managing the team to successfully follow the Scope of Work for one or more projects at a time. I have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Restoration Industry, with experience/knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, and asbestos remediation. I travel locally, regionally, and/or nationally as business needs dictate. Required travel throughout the US is 100% of the time! (PA, NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, and ME)
I have high standards of professional conduct with Clients, Subs, and in-house, and am responsible for the overall management of the project. I work with Project Director to understand, evaluate and execute the Scope of Work, and analyze the Scope of Work and the Budget to accept or reject based on actual conditions. I review and adjust the budget based on actual costs to perform work and am responsible for notifying General Manager and Project Director when there is a risk of the project not meeting the expected budget, gross profit margin, and/or schedule. I prepare schedules for projects and direct the scheduling for the work of Subs and in-house trades to accomplish the Scope of Work. I will also manage, support, and assist, Project Director as needed. I will solicit, receive, and approve proposals from Subcontractors to perform the work and, evaluate the need for Change Orders to Owners and Subcontractors. I will prepare reports, documentation, and other jobs related and administrative documents for Project Director. I arrange for permits as needed, work with the Project Director to resolve problems as discovered, and create and maintain job activity paperwork and Jobsite Inventories. I act as liaison with Project Director, Clients, Subs, and in-house personnel, and follow and enforce all policies/procedures/regulations as dictated by Interstate, State, and Federal entities.

Qualifications
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
- Computer literate; MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook
- Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal code applications and how to determine code requirements
- Knowledge of industry policies and procedures
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control
- Ability to set and monitor goals
- Ability to maintain controlled authority
- Communicate well, verbal and in writing
- Perform in a way that best represents the standards and interests of THE COMPANY
- Have high standards of professional conduct with Clients, Subs, and in-house
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
Preferences:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the Restoration Industry, with experience/knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, and asbestos remediation
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Special Position Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel locally, regionally, and/or nationally as business needs dictate
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. or more
- Able to stand without accommodations (assistance) for long periods (up to 8-10 hours a day)
