Entry Level Field Surveyor

Entry level position, involves introduction to basic surveying practices and procedures. The position assumes little or no prior knowledge or exposure to the surveying field. This will involve basic training in the proper use and operation of survey equipment, proper use of company established descriptor codes, field procedures, and boundary recovery. Through training employees will also be trained in use of the company accepted CAD program. Drafting skills will be developed with the goal of having the ability to draw linework and label existing features for a complete site. Individuals will be introduced to deed plotting and basic principles of boundary analysis.

The Ideal candidate has strong math skills, strong interpersonal skills and is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and trustworthy. Prior surveying experience or education is favorable, but not required. The successful candidate will train with an experienced surveyor.

The position is based in Bethlehem, PA with daily and some overnight travel to job sites in PA, NJ, NY, MD, and CT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
