The Loan Coordinator III is responsible for various duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our customers and lenders in a timely manner, with high standards of quality and detail. This includes support to multiple lenders with Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Agriculture, and/or Residential Real Estate Loans.
Responsibilities In Accordance With Our Corporate Values
Professionalism
- Follows policies and procedures and support the banks goals and values while displaying strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Work with customer to complete consumer loan applications, enter customer data into loan origination system and close loan with customer
- Submit release documents to loan operations department to ensure releases are processed in a timely manner. Prepare partial deeds of release documents when needed
- Assist lender gathering required documentation to complete the customer loan request. Organize documents and guide all parties through the loan process
- Actively participate in training programs to maintain and acquire additional job knowledge and skills
- Review loan file to ensure the completeness of the file prior to closing
- Submit Credit Life and A&H certificates to loan operations for submission on a monthly basis. Co-ordinate with loan operations personnel and customer on A&H disability or death claims
- Facilitate loan closings in a timely manner and ensure loan documents have been executed properly
- Track outstanding final title policies that have not been obtained from title companies
- Bankruptcy, Foreclosure & Repo - Submit required documentation to attorney and the banks Special Assets Officer other third party regarding the foreclosure & repossession. Work with loan operations (Special Assets group) once the foreclosure or repossession has taken place
- Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate personnel within the department and exhibit the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved
- Cross train less experienced personnel loan department functions
- Monitor loan pipeline to ensure dates are met for both compliance and closing date deadlines

- Associate degree or equivalent from college or technical school, or 5 years of related experience and/or training
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)
- Ability to analyze, research and interpret data
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, with confidence, accuracy and correct grammar
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize your work to meet deadlines, learn new tasks quickly and adaptable to change
- Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate the needs associated with supporting loan officer(s) and our customers
- Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
