IT Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to join our team. As the IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the divisions technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. First State Orthopaedics is looking for a professional, skilled individual to provide focus, direction, organization, and support for all Help Desk activities. Monitoring assignments and performance of the helpdesk employees, ensuring the Help Desk contact points are covered in an optimal manner, distributing work requests, and managing priority calls. Duties include but not limited to providing telephone, e-mail, and in-person support, identifying hardware/software problems and solutions, installing approved software, ensuring users’ efficient and effective utilization of applications and equipment by providing guidelines for use and self-help instructions. Maintain desktop and laptop standards for all locations. Maintain images of desktops and laptops. Troubleshoot and escalate EMR issues to appropriate IT support staff and vendors, undertake various housekeeping and reporting functions for the areas of responsibility. Maintain work records through ticket-based tracking system and inform users about the status of open problems.

Skills: Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, and Microsoft Office 365. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software related desktop issues. Knowledge of Microsoft networking principles, capable of multi-tasking and working with minimal supervision. Experience supervising a small team. Experience troubleshooting Remote Desktop environments and servers.
Other Skills: Knowledge of NextGen EMR software, thin clients, Active Directory, electronic fax, wireless networks, VOIP phone systems, Windows OS, and Electronic Health record software.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
