Production Manager

Position: Manager, Production

Reports To: Plant Manager

Position Summary:

**** Must live in Reading/Hatfield area in order to support facility ****

The Production Manager manages the departments in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. They also develop plans for efficient and effective delivery of products.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Developed and implements specific policies, objectives, and teams in support of strategic goals to improve the efficiency and effectiveness within the Production Department while working collaboratively with other workers.

2. Responsible for ensuring that all employees and equipment are performing safely in accordance with current established Health and Safety regulations through direct or indirect supervision.

3. Integrates Health and Safety into all aspects of production in accordance with the Occupation Health and Safety Act (OSHA), industrial safety regulations and all other relevant current legislation that apply.

4. Ensures that all Customer orders are completed on time within established budgetary guidelines.

5. Manages initiatives aimed at meeting financial, operational and growth objectives.

6. Gives clear directive to staff, handles incidents and documentation related to occurrences/incidences in the plant and escalates when necessary.

7. Communicates with Maintenance regarding any issues with equipment.

8. Ensures staff are scheduled accordingly to ensure business continuity.

9. Performs additional duties related to the role as assigned by Management.

10. Communicates and works effectively with Quality Assurance.

Position Requirements:

· Min 10 years experience in a Managerial role in Manufacturing/Supply Chain

· Produce Industry required

· Proven supervisory and problem-solving skills

· Solid working knowledge of H&S practices

· Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and execute and delegate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,508.02 - $69,256.97 per year

• Nights as needed
