About the Assistant Transportation Manager position:

At First Student, our Assistant Transportation Managers are a constant reflection of our company’s commitment to safety and customer service. The Assistant Transportation Manager is responsible for providing operational oversight, day-to-day management, and directly supervising staff and financial performance.

As the Assistant Transportation Manager, you will be able to understand, organize, and interpret location financial data as well as maintain a client-centered mindset.

Assistant Transportation Manager Qualifications:

• 2 years of demonstrated people management, ideally in the transportation industry.
• Demonstrated experience in being held to a variety of performance metrics.
• Business background in financial, strategic, and operational analysis.
• Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
