Become a Lot Attendant with First Transit!
Job Purpose
Performs all non-safety critical functions of school bus repair.

Our Lot Attendants are responsible for:
- Perform servicing tasks cleaning of filters.
- Replaces bulbs.
- Lubricates equipment.
- Removes wheels and tires.
- Changes fluids in buses.
- Any other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Repairs floors , seat backs, and coverings
- Replace mirrors and some exterior panels
- Add and remove decals
To qualify as a Lot Attendant, you’ll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a small set of hand tools, increasing as training progresses
- Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
- Physical ability to work in the trade
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
