What You Will Do:
- Independently source and recommend investment ideas for the equity strategy, taking ownership and having discretion over assigned areas.
- Analyze and monitor existing portfolio investments, expanding coverage to additional areas assigned.
- Expand and deepen industry and company knowledge independently using internal and external resources, developing long-term plan targeting specific sectors and companies with quarterly goals.
- Build and maintain financial models for individual companies, as well as for industry and economic variables.
- Provide support in the trading function of the equity strategy, establishing and building out new policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource to the CIO and Investment Research Team within scope of equities.
- Participate with IPC as assigned.
- Provide support to PC Portfolio Managers, RMAs, and PCs.
- Financial statement analysis and financial modeling experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Bloomberg and FactSet experience preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-tasks
- Ability to work cohesively and positively with a wide variety of internal associates and external partners
