FirstFour Staffing is assisting a client with their need for a Maintenance Test Pilot experienced in UH-60 L/M.
This position will perform aircraft test flights to measure performance and handling to determine airworthiness following maintenance or modifications.
Responsibilities include
- Perform test flights and demonstrate aircraft proficiency
- Determine the airworthiness of aircraft
- Perform troubleshooting procedures of aircraft on the ground and during flight
- Run-up aircraft for alert status
- Interpret meteorological data
- File flight plans for all flights
- Verify forms and records used in the performance of maintenance
- Compute weight and balance logs
- Perform recovery flights and ferries aircraft to additional sites
- Initiate and complete all military flight or maintenance
- Aircraft Technical Inspection (TI)
- Perform troubleshooting and analyze electrical/electronic systems
- Maintains technical library, inspect systems, subsystems, and components
- Inspect crash-damaged aircraft and estimates time, parts and costs to repair
- Evaluate maintenance operations and facilities for compliance
- Perform maintenance trend analysis
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ten (10) years of aviation maintenance experience
- 1000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time
- Proficient in flying operations of the UH-60 (L/M) OR the AH-60 (D/E)
- Possess a current valid Army Upslip or FAA Class II Medical, and complete initially and annually an Army or FAA Class II flight physical
- Possess an instrument rating on FAA Commercial Pilot License.
- Completion of Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC), and the US Army Aircraft Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phase II
- Meet the qualification requirements of AR 95-20, and the experience requirements of AFR55-22, NOTAMS, AR95-10, AR95-20 and DCMA-8210
- Version 6 Qualified is preferred
- US Government Secret Clearance
