Audiovisual & Conference Services Specialist
Job Posting for Audiovisual & Conference Services Specialist at FirstHealth of the Carolinas
Oversees and coordinates the set-up and breakdown of all meeting rooms/function space for meeting and catering events. Assists supervisor in the coordination of conference, facility management and special programs. Maintains and ensures audiovisual equipment is in proper working order. Performs service, support and/or minor maintenance on all conference and audiovisual equipment, including equipment that support distance learning and meetings. Communicates daily with Conference Services Set-Up Assistant and Environmental Services. Works collaboratively with Catering Services. Assists with the coordination maintenance and servicing of hospital-owned vehicles with FirstFleet staff.
High school graduate with a minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality industry or related field. Associate Degree preferred. Audiovisual and video technology communication equipment experience required.
Must be able to push, pull, lift and transport a variety of conference tables, chairs and other technical equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. Repeated lifting, bending, walking, stooping and standing for long periods required.

Schedule: Full Time - 40 Hours per Week, Day Shift, Days with occassional evenings and weekends
