Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Medication reminder as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for dementia care patients.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting resident rights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
