Our non-medical homecare company is looking to hire a full time Registered Nurse/Care Coordinator to join our team. The office is located in Oviedo, FL.
RN/Care Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively establish a rapport with caregivers and clients
- Manage day to day field operations to ensure quality assurance of services
- Perform initial new client assessments and ongoing in-home evaluation, caregiver introductions, coordination and supervision of client services
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of observations, non-medical treatments and care of patients
- Teaching and counseling clients and families/significant others regarding their service needs
- Initiating preventive and rehabilitative non-medical procedures, as appropriate
- Train and supervise caregivers as needed
- Take initiative and determine actions to meet care plan goals
Qualifications:
- Valid and Active RN license
- 1 to 2 years experience as an RN
- Must be technologically inclined with the use of a computer or an iPad
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job and utilize critical thinking skills
- Ability to do bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
Our new coordinator will use a company car while working. A company cell phone and an iPad will be provided.
