Senior Corporate Accountant - Up to $100k bonus
Rapidly growing, PE backed client of ours is looking to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. Reporting 100% onsite, you will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement prep, and cash activity.
Description:
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries to the general ledger
- Ensure the timely reporting of monthly financial information.
- Collaborate with corporate and field accounting and financial planning & analysis teams
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the close schedule.
- Analyze financial statements, explaining variances from budget and prior year, and provide detailed analyses of significant variances.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Record daily corporate cash activity and cash application reports to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and departmental reports as necessary.
- Assist with year-end audit by providing supporting documentation for auditors.
- Continually strengthen internal control processes and improve policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 3 years of corporate accounting experience
- Public company experience preferred
