Objective
At Firstrust, our Summer Floating Tellers provide friendly, efficient, and effective service to all customers. They perform a variety of financial transactions using technology and office equipment, following detailed procedures. They strive to retain customers through extraordinary service, always alert to customer needs and suggesting Firstrust products and services to fulfill those needs. This position is typically 35 hours but could be as much as 40 hours per week. This position does require ability to get to all of Firstrust's branches within Philadelphia and surrounding areas, as the position would be providing coverage for our full-time staff in various branches.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Ensure a consistently high level of quality customer service and creating an exceptional banking experience for each and every customer conducting teller transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Firstrust’s policies and procedures: Report on teller differences on a daily basis, conduct audits, i.e., teller, vault, ATM etc. and comply with all opening and closing procedures.
- Demonstrates teamwork through flexibility and maintains effective communication with others in the Branch.
- Continuously looks for ways to contribute to the overall teller team performance.
- Greets each customer enthusiastically and thanks each customer for doing business with Firstrust.
- Assist Head Teller with verifying money received or sent for cash shipments as needed.
- Will ensure all work is completed accurately and follows up with any outstanding items.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with our Mission/Values.
- Work with a sense of urgency meeting and exceeding the customers’ needs and expectations.
- Must have vehicle and ability to get to all branches.
- Weekly schedule will vary. 20-40 hours per week. Weekends included.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities
- High school degree, or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of one year in a customer service role, preferably involving cash transactions
- Ability to lift heavy coin trays and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal, cash handling and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends based on branch needs
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and sell bank products and services.
- Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, postage machine, etc.
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
