Position: Lifestyle Coordinator
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Corona, CA
Job Responsibilities:
Jo To promote and demonstrate the community vision of intergenerational interaction through community lifestyle events and programs. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, and oversight of creative, customized community events, resident engagement/volunteer activities, resident-led clubs, and recreational programs to enhance the lifestyle experience of the residents.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop, coordinate and implement customized intimate and large-scale community events to ensure neighbor to neighbor interactions creating a unique lifestyle for the residents
- Ensure accurate documentation for all community event and recreational program plans, vendor contacts, budgets, event summary reports, etc., as required in the standardized format using FSR best practices and templates
- Ensure timely and accurate reports to supervisor and others as requested
- Ensure approved vendors are compliant with insurance requirements and provide oversight of all vendors for events and programs to include a review of all vendor invoices before payment
- Development of positive working relationships with all community event and 3rd party recreation vendors holding them accountable for excellent services to the residents
- Monitor and update the master community event and activities calendar as needed and ensure accuracy for posting on the community monitors and website
- Create and implement survey tools and processes to identify resident interest for community event activities and recreational programs to support the activation of community facilities
- Work collaboratively with the Board, Lifestyles Committee, and other identified community partners to tap resources that will provide added value to the event activities
- Monitor monthly expenditures of all programming (community events, activities, and recreational programs) to ensure Management of expenses, accurate coding, and compliance to budget limits
- Support volunteer committee(s) and resident led clubs
- Attend and participate in Board meetings as required
- Provide community events / activities and recreational programs content for website updates, e-blasts, newsletter, and social media platforms
- Work collaboratively with the team to create and implement promotion strategies to ensure the timely promotion of events, activities, and recreational programs through the website, e-blasts, newsletter, and social media platforms
- Provide oversight and supervision on the day-to-day task of the coordinators to include Management of all resident communication ensuring representation of the community brand
- Support the General Manager with the Neighborhood Outreach committee programs that connect to community lifestyle
- Support the General Manager with operations administrative tasks of the community service organization
- Monitor and provide oversight for all 3rd party recreation vendors to ensure maximum usage of facilities and meet the interests of the residents
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
- Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
- May participate in various meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge about new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Provide oversight of all event and program vendors
Education & Experience:
- 4-year college degree preferred, with hospitality, non-profit special events or recreation management emphasis or equivalent work experience; plus 2-4 years' experience in the events/recreation field, non-profit management, city government community services, and/or community management field
- Demonstrated commitment to continual learning as evidenced by attendance at seminars/ industry workshops, either as an attendee or as a guest speaker
- Minimum of one year experience working with volunteer committees and age qualified groups desired
- Proven track record for non-profit operations management or special event coordination and operations management in the charitable non-profit field a plus
- Experience in the implementation of content to the website, e-blasts, newsletter and social media platforms

Physical Requirements / Working Environment:

- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, vendors, and our clients
- Valid California Driver's License and State mandated vehicle insurance, and registration.
- Ability to walk extensive slope and/or flat association areas and visually review landscape, building areas, recreation facilities, parks etc. to ensure proper maintenance.
- Ability to work late into evenings as required for board meeting attendance.
This is a full-time position with typical scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. May be required to work overtime as needed and approved by supervisor, including occasional evening meetings. Consistent and regular attendance required.
