Full Job Description
Nature of Work:
The Maintenance Worker performs skilled painting jobs in a residential building and other building repairs and maintenance tasks and duties as required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· Ability to mix, match, and apply paint to various types of surfaces
· Ability to scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces before painting
· Repair cracks, holes, and joints to various types of surfaces
· Install sheetrock and ceramic tiles
· Ability to perform minor repairs using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
· Ability to communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, contractors, and vendors to exchange information.
· Ability to follow safety standards when working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.
· Ability to work independently and complete work assignments with minimum supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
2-4 years experience in painting, building construction, maintenance, and repair
Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in buildings and construction trades

Reports to Superintendent/ Resident Manager
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
