About the team

You will be supporting the Corporate Treasury team and its international operations. This team provides global funding and payment support to FIS and its subsidiaries. This position reports to our Senior Treasury Manager.

What you will be doing

As an analyst on the Corporate Treasury team, you will support international transactions and administer the Company portfolio of financial instruments. The right individual for this role has a passion for excellence, great attention to detail and the ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization.

• Facilitate settlement of international treasury transactions.
• Prepare payments, confirm trade details, and coordinate signatures for approval.
• Gather and deliver supporting documents to accounting and other internal teams for journal postings.
• Prepare internal reports as required by management on treasury matters.
• Assist with Treasury system data input for international activity as needed.
• Works with accounting, tax and operation teams to research payments and problem solve.
• Participates in other initiatives/projects and performs additional duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Entry level or 1 or more years of experience in this field
• Knowledge of cash management activities and financial analysis along with the ability to understand and apply concepts
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial statements, practices and procedures as well as banking functions
• Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving
• Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to create complex spreadsheets and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, accounting, reporting and other related software
• Ability to prepare financial reports
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, plan and work in an organized manner and rely on sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to handle daily responsibilities and special projects simultaneously
• Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and the public
