About the team:

WorldPay is seeking a Build Release Engineer to join our team of talented DevOps group.  We are seeking someone with experience in Build Release or Full Stack with an interest in Dev Ops. This team is responsible for creating various tools and processes to help glue the various departments together. You will work closely with our development team to create, maintain, and improve our build and deployment pipelines. Your cross-platform development practices will help us grow the platform while keeping invaluable systems running.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain and evolve a code simulation pipeline that executes thousands of hours of scenarios each day.

• Develop tools to enhance reporting, tracking, and analysis of the development environment.

• Solve challenges across a vast codebase and look for cross-cutting solutions.

• Help scale and streamline the build pipeline.

• Assist engineers with issues during their development efforts.

• Research new tools and frameworks to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Relational database knowledge with Postgres, DB2, or similar.

• Experience with some of the following tools.
  Java, Python, Bash, Perl, Gradle, Docker, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, GitLab,, GitHub, AccuRev, Jenkins, Ansible, Gradle
