FIS Digital One Platform team is responsible for building omni channel Digital One platform for large financial institutions
What you will be doing
FIS is looking for a Development Director to join our Digital One Platform Team. This role can sit anywhere in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall Digital One platform design, development and delivery for our clients.
- Extensive experience in business & digital transformation, Business Process Automation, Implementation and conversion programs. (More than one area)
- Extensive experience in working with multi-skilled teams (one or many - Data Analytics, UX Designers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers) on projects that touch a range of technical platforms.
- Experience of creating digital roadmaps and strategies for multiple clients at local and global scale. Should have Perspective on latest digital trends.
- Strong ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders
- Establishes foundation architecture for organization to standardize hardware and software usage. Develops an evolving implementation plan that provides application developers appropriate frameworks and support infrastructure enabling delivery of innovative products consistent with vision.
- Engages in strategic solution design with cross-functional teams focusing on integration, best practices and enterprise re-use.
- Leads and develops technical professionals to ensure career growth and achievement of organizational goals including interim and annual performance reviews.
- Manages work efforts of managers/supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews.
What you bring:
- 15 years of industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Knowledge of management reporting, operational procedures and management information systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team-building, organization, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and deal with highly complex, confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work closely with executive management to provide essential information, make recommendations and affect change
- Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
- Proven project management skills
