NOTE~ This role is 5 days onsite supporting our Banking client in Fairfield, CA.
About The Role
As a Network Analyst, you’ll work with large, complex network systems and help maintain the infrastructure that’s critical to the world of global fintech. This will involve upgrading systems and software and deploying network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls. You are the end-to-end owner of network infrastructure. You design and manage network security frameworks to support all hosted environments. You own information security and network reliability and they are at the core of your thought processes.
About The Team
FIS’ Systematics Account Team supporting our client works onsite with our client providing technology support services for key areas supporting their business objectives. Our team is comprised of both tenured FIS senior level subject matter experts and experts that are relatively new to the FIS family. Our team works closely with each other and with our client partners without the classic vendor/client barriers. We are one team working towards successfully achieving common business goals.
What You Will Be Doing
This position is part of a hands-on network administration team entirely responsible for the network from design through implementation and ongoing support. Team members will receive requests from colleagues and escalations from other support teams, both internal and external. Specific duties for this position are~

What You Will Be Doing
This position is part of a hands-on network administration team entirely responsible for the network from design through implementation and ongoing support. Team members will receive requests from colleagues and escalations from other support teams, both internal and external. Specific duties for this position are~
- Responding to customer requests potentially communicating with multiple layers of management and staff, escalating to senior analysts
- Reviewing SIEM Logs and working with senior analysts for remediation. Reviewing Security Scanning logs for vulnerabilities applicable to our environment
- Traveling to remote locations to remediate issues with Switches, Wireless Access Points
- Responding to network support issues requiring knowledge of network fundamentals.
- Reviewing network equipment release notifications and working with team to assess implementing upgrades
- Assisting senior analysts with complex projects
- Reviewing and implementing network appliance security changes with direction from senior analysts
- Updating documentation for accuracy
- Capability to work some Holidays and weekends as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of network technologies and IT technologies
- Skilled with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, Teams
- A bachelor’s in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience
- Bank ATM monitoring and repair experience would be desirable
- Printer Configuration knowledge is beneficial
- PC and Thin Client Terminal and Installation knowledge (Windows 10)
