As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:

  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment

  • Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization

  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities

  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a June start.

About The Team

As a member of the Professional Services team, the project manager leads FIS project teams towards on time, on budget projects resulting in referenceable clients. This position plays a key role in the success of customer implementations of the Ambit Lending product suite including Optimist and Commercial Loan Origination consulting solutions. Optimist is a risk and compliance tool that commercial banks use to spread financials and generate risk grades when evaluating whether to lend to borrowers. CLO is a loan origination tool that banks use to track commercial loans throughout the full lending lifecycle. The advisory group provides consulting services to our clients which ultimately are implemented within our Ambit Solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage all aspects of the project life-cycle for project inception to close including key aspects of project success: scope, budget, accurate forecasting duration, risk mitigation, issues and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and manage up to date project plans in MS Project which clearly outline work activities, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Setup & maintain projects in project tracking system.
  • Prepare frequent project status reports outlining project progress for both customer and FIS use.
  • Prepare and conduct frequent project meetings with the customer and FIS staff both at the project level and at the Steering Committee level.
  • Complete project administrative activities for internal and client engagements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
