ABOUT THE TEAM:
FIS is looking for a Sr. Director, Deliver Partner to join our Banking Solutions line of business. As a Sr. Director, Deliver Partner, you will work with an exciting and collaborative team. We are passionate about our work and take a client-first approach to everything we do. There are great opportunities for learning within this group.
This role does require travel, and a preference for EST working hours
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will be providing leadership for the Digital One Platform. You will:
- Manage a portfolio of Digital One client(s) across USA and the FIS program teams who deliver those projects
- Be accountable for end-to-end program delivery of all Digital One implementation in portfolio
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by consistently exceeding client expectations, leading high-profile engagements, demonstrating subject matter expertise, and assigning and directing qualified staff.
- Liaise between client and FIS program team on all facets of program delivery, including scope, schedule, cost/budget, changes, escalations, risks/issues
- Act as a point of escalation for clients and follow-through on resolving them
- Liaise between implementations, engineering, product, and companion teams at FIS to help precipitate delivery
- Reduce blind-spots by having a multi-dimensional perspective of every implementation project
- Aide with preparation and presenting program level updates to client leadership as needed.
- Be tactical and hold program team accountable on all aspects of delivery – Sprints, Scope, Schedule, Budget, Quality etc.
- Manage a team of 5-10 direct reports, usually experienced Program, Project Managers
- Establishes, maintains, and fully utilizes a team of qualified professionals by recruiting ahead of needs, motivating staff to reach full potential, and actively tracking staff utilization.
- Makes timely, informed decisions and communicates rationale with factual accuracy and clarity
- Adapts to changing business circumstances with appropriate actions and positive attitude.
- Collaborates with other leaders throughout FIS.
- Builds organizational structure to meet business goals and objectives.
- Works with FIS talent acquisition to recruit people of high caliber.
- Mentors, motivates, and guides performance of others creating an effective team environment.
- Develops thought leadership, represents FIS at industry events and participates in prospect meetings.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 10 years of strong previous leadership, management, organizational, and team building skills supporting FIS Products and Services
- Knowledge of banking/financial industry, preferably someone with Digital One exposure
- Proven ability to build relationships across teams and levels of leaderships
