What does a successful Junior Project Analyst do at Fiserv?

You will maintain a portfolio of projects, programs, and processes to ensure that groups within the business unit, finance, application development, and project management departments move projects through all decision points and approvals from start to finish, keeping the portfolio up-to-date and reflecting the appropriate demand and capacity measures. You will work with the Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management Office to ensure the data integrity of the work is up to our standards.

What you will do:

• Own the submission, adherence, financial approval, and closure processes for projects
• Maintain the portfolio on an ongoing basis to include existing and pending projects, change control, strategic alignment to ensure all projects meet data integrity standards
• Assist with the development of and adherence to the project portfolio processes
• Measure portfolio health, status, and variances against a baseline
• Create reporting to include strategic insight, options, and recommendations that demonstrate compliance with organizational goals and standards
• Ensure the projects delivered to the PMO include all necessary artifacts required to make the project successful

What you will need to have:

• 2 years of project management, system analysis, and/or process management experience
• 2 years of experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTable
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, business, or a similar field

What would be great to have:

• Financial domain experience
• Experience with portfolio management and governance
• Experience with Clarity and/or JIRA

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.
