What does a successful Production Supervisor do at Fiserv?
Supervisors are accountable for the overall performance of the team under the direction of the department manager. A supervisor’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the work gets done efficiently and effectively. Being a good supervisor means having the ability to motivate others to effective task completion. Good supervisors must have strong communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with others.
What you will do:
Analyze production schedules and labor requirements and establish or adjusts work procedures to meet production commitments.
Assure optimal utilization of people, skills, and equipment. Work to continually improve quality and production output.
Continually strive to enhance performance through solid analytical review of production metrics. Must be able to create and analyze the data for the department.
Leads by example and ensures the safe and on-time production of high-quality baked goods through adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet company, customer and regulatory standards.
Drives continuous improvement through the daily use of Lean tools and Root Cause Analysis.
Tracks and reports on production data to evaluate performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Assist with ensuring that all new hires are properly and adequality trained to perform their job responsibilities at the highest level.
What you will need to have:
HS diploma/equivalent required.
2-4 years of experience in a production environment.
Experience operating a computer workstation.
Deep knowledge of inventory control
Ability to work Weekends and Holidays
Ability to work overtime during peak periods
What would be great to have:
Associate degree in Industrial Management or related field
Experience in coaching and developing employees
Experience in being a critical decision maker in a fast-paced environment.
