Job Title Client Tech Support Engineering - Professional I What does a successful Client Tech Support Engineer do at Fiserv? As the Technical Support Engineer, you will perform routine application and system administration tasks. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving common problems for clients using Fiserv’s products. In this position, you will work in a dynamic, professional, client support environment with financial institution clients. The team also shares responsibility for system operations with Fiserv’s data center engineering and operations group. What you will do: Perform duties as part of a scheduled on-call rotation. Respond to client incidents off hours (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays), as well as responding to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client incident or critical business need. Work a scheduled shift designed to provide Fiserv clients with 24x7 application operations and support coverage. What you will need to have: 3-5 years’ hands on experience working with Web Tier: IIS administration, Web browsers, navigation. Experience working with Application Tiers including Windows Server applications Data Tier: SQL databases and queries. 3-5 years’ experience working with Infrastructure: Windows Server administration, Using scripts (BAT, VBScript, PowerShell), TCP/IP networking basics. Direct experience working Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work under pressure to complete tasks on schedule with high quality. Detail-oriented with ability to execute complex, technical system administration procedures. Good understanding of ITIL framework and service delivery. What would be great to have: Mobile application or financial applications experience. Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Knowledge of payment processing; Fiserv’s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas.
