Job Title
Production Reliability EngineerWhat does a successful Production Reliability Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will join the team at our Stafford, TX location and help lead a small team of specialist that are the first point of escalation to prevent equipment downtime at one of our four print production locations. You will research market trends and look for ways to improve workflows, downtimes and maintenance repair efficiencies. Your leadership in a demanding production environment to conduct troubleshooting and debugging strategies to improve performance issues is the top priority to support maintenance in minimizing downtime.
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to other employees and management
- Act as a liaison between TE management and vendors/suppliers
- Escalate and prevent critical machine down time
- Help set guidelines and uniformity across all the facilities
- Build, create and provide documentation/guides for TE’s that maintain the equipment
- Document changes to the equipment following department change control policies
- Review and analyze cost-effective strategies for the company's equipment down time including critical parts management
What you will need to have:
- Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent Military training
- 5 years experience with print, inserter or production mail systems
- 5 years experience in Project management
- Experience in Lean principles and Continuous Improvement environment
- Experience in data-driven management, metrics and reporting
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Network, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent Military training
- 5 years management / supervisory experience
- 5 years of production maintenance troubleshooting complex hardware.
- Experience with IP5000, HP Roll-to-Roll printer, Ricoh Cut Sheet Printers
- Experience with BlueCrest, APS, MPS, and EPIC inserting equipment
- Experience with APEX or Criterion sorters
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.
