What does a successful DevOps Manager do at Fiserv?
As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for implementing DevOps strategy to enhance efficiency and collaboration across the development lifecycle. You will manage your team as they work on building compelling user interface applications that enables end to end capabilities as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams. You will partner with teams across the organization and our clients, this individual ensures installations are completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.

As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for implementing DevOps strategy to enhance efficiency and collaboration across the development lifecycle. You will partner with teams across the organization and our clients, this individual ensures installations are completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.
What You Will Do
- Provide program leadership and help drive accomplishment of department level initiatives.
- Participate in project planning; determine project needs in advance and work with others to establish an appropriate timeline to complete projects on time.
- Ensure risk management and prompt escalation/awareness to appropriate senior leadership teams while working through the mitigations.
- Define and implement methods, procedures, tools, and policies to ensure that high-quality service is delivered to customers.
- Design, develop, and implement processes, systems, and technology to support and enhance the technical support function.
- Lead the team to find new ways to automate our processes for testing, building, and deploying.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
- 6 years of manager/supervisor leadership experience in an IT environment.
- 10 years of development technologies (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, etc.) and release engineering experience.
- 5 years of experience with enterprise systems, software, and platforms.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, or relevant cloud provider certifications are a plus.
