Electronics Repair Technician

What does a great Electronics Repair Technician do at Fiserv?

You will handle quality control inspection, electronic functional testing, reprogramming, electronic repair, cleaning, and packing Clover point of sale (POS) equipment.

We ensure the reliability of the Clover devices that are vital to our merchant’s daily success in handling financial transactions.

What you will do :

• Rework recommended components of units according to recorded failure.
• Read and interpret Digital Multi Meter.
• Download, configure and test all units according to set procedures.
• Inspect for cosmetic failures.
• Fully erase any old program stored in unit.
• Reinstall electronic components into electronic subassemblies with correct orientation and location.

What you will need to have :

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 1 year work experience in a production environment or combination of experience, technical education, and military.

What would be great to have :

• Formal soldering training or equivalent military training.
• 3 years of electronic repair experience.
• Experience soldering / desoldering surface mount and through-hole components.
• Prior production, assembly line or warehouse experience.
• Prior experience working with electronic devices.
• Prior experience with ISO 9001 quality processes.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
