What you will do As a Product Manager in our Financial Issuing Product segment you will play a key senior role in leading a portfolio of modernizing capabilities that will benefit our customers and the evolving market in which they operate. We are looking for Product Managers to join our diverse team, to build new product capabilities and to enhance existing ones. Our platform capabilities include financial payment and processing, credit, debit, lending, commercial, digitalisation, fraud, risk & compliance, customer & channel management solutions in an extensive customer landscape. Serving thousands of financial institutions and millions of businesses worldwide to help simplify payment processing and improve the customer experience. Clients include. Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Government, Merchants, Retailers & Consumers. Specific responsibilities will include: A great product manager at Fiserv is a natural leader and can excite and motivate teams to a common deliverable and purpose. A product led and customer focused individual who enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively cross functionally to deliver best in class solutions for our clients. You will have the ability to be both strategic and operational, responsible for setting and evangelizing our product vision and you will play an instrumental part of a team that will help mobilise against that vision. Acts as primary liaison partnering with cross functional teams (Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Testing, Release, PMO etc ) and is also the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams, making sure there’s buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy and clear instructions and deliverables for our engineering teams. Supports the identification of the vision, strategy, and align product priorities, work closely with the team to prioritise, manage scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders Hands on Agile framework development experience, SDLC, sprint management, customer stories/journeys, epics, wireframes, demos etc A focus for continuous improvement, work with the team to refine the process, identify areas for improvement, and support the sprint. Be the product subject matter expert for your domain, Drive scale and adoption of the product globally, Clearly communicate vision and goals of the product Proactively identify gaps in the current product offering and lead the effort to develop solutions that drive business value Track payment industry trends, standards and competitive offerings in the payments arena. Identify opportunities for new value-added and differentiated features Participate in client facing discussions, providing feedback, learn, evaluate and apply in defining product What we’re looking for A domain expert & strong customer centric mindset with at least 15 years experience in a product role in Payments and e-commerce domain. Experience in driving product strategy and go to market that enable excellent user experiences, especially with services for payment / financial systems Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally both business and technical stakeholders, including clients in a collaborative way. A strong grasp of the fundamentals of Agile development principles and SDLC. A self-motivated and results focused individual with the ability to take ownership for issues through to resolution. An ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a fast paced & target driven environment. Analytical with an ability to ask questions, think "outside of the box" and innovate. Ability to motivate a cross functional team to deliver to a common purpose Project management skills and understands dependencies, risks and issues requiring speedy resolution. Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders Ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicting situations Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks Proven track record of taking ownership and driving meaningful results Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion Third level qualification Bachelors degree, Masters preferred, additional European languages a plus. Stage 2 – Three Interviews 30 minutes with senior leaders in the business who will run through the position, your experience followed by a combination of technical and competency- based questions. Stage 3 – Final round panel to run through your application followed by some questions to understand your decision making and thought process.
