Technical Engineer- 2nd shift

Job Title Technical Engineer- 2nd shift Job Purpose What does a successful Technical Engineer do at Fiserv? As a Technical Engineer, you will work independently of manager/supervisor to perform difficult, complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties to overhaul production machines, industrial machinery, timing devices, and electrical/electronic equipment. Follow up to assure satisfactory completion, check work progress throughout the department, and provide verbal and written status reports to the supervisor. We provide the tools on-site that you will need to complete the assigned tasks. What you will do: Disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment Fitting and alignment of mechanical components Troubleshoot to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting maintenance issues. Work Schedule: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am; Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday What you will need to have: HS diploma/equivalent required. 1-2 years of progressive maintenance repair and troubleshooting. Willing to go back to school to earn degree or certification. What would be great to have: Associate degree in Electronic Technology or Industrial Maintenance 5-10 years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience.
