What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Specialist position at Fiserv?
Reporting to the Supervisor, Credit Union Training Specialists, this position will play a key role in the delivery of training on core credit union software to credit union staff. Focused on delivering a training curriculum to credit unions migrating to a Fiserv Core solution, Training Specialists train on both the technical and functional aspects of the product, creating and performing training to a range of skills, including ‘Train the Trainer’ courses. Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Assists in writing literature and developing materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures. May conduct classes for groups of credit union staff members in a variety of delivery methods such as webinars, regional trainings, symposiums, and/or client conferences.
The Training Specialist will also identify and suggest appropriate modifications to delivery methodology, training materials (complete with instructional design documents, training objectives, and potential development deliverables), processes and procedures within the team, and will gather necessary content from a range of internal & external partners as needed.
You can look forward to:
• Act as a lead trainer for credit unions converting to a new Fiserv core platform
o Manage and deliver all sessions of the training curriculum
o Coordinate with conversion Project Manager and other Fiserv associates who are implementing and configuring credit union modules and settings.
o Deploy training to targeted personnel
• Prepare and conduct training sessions on Fiserv core software to credit union clients for continued learning.
• Plan and direct classroom training webinars, symposiums, regionals, client conference, or other classroom style training.
o Prepare training material and classroom agenda

• Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 5 or more years experience working in the banking, credit union or financial services industry
• Excellent verbal, written and group interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of credit union processes including, but not limited to, knowledge of tellering, loan instruments, EFT processing, general ledgers/credit union accounting, online and audio banking, credit card processing, etc.
• Experienced in the production and delivery of hands-on training, webinar training, classroom style training, and ‘Train the Trainer’ courses.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Finance/Marketing or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree, with a proven background in Instructional Design/Technical Training
• Experienced in the production and delivery of hands-on training, webinar training, classroom style training, and ‘Train the Trainer’ courses.
• 5 or more years knowledge of Fiserv core products
Travel required: 25-50% travel within the US as needed for internal team meetings and client on-site engagements
