Fisher Associates is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to join our GIS Team within the Geomatics Group. The GIS Analyst will provide creativity and support to the company in the field of GIS.

The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Establish and maintain strong client relationships adhering to the Fisher Clientship philosophy.
- Design and produce professional quality deliverables each day with established deadlines.
- Read and understand engineering sketches, drawings and documents.
- GIS data manipulation, automation, conversion, and migration
- Integrate geospatial data from multiple formats and sources
- Participate in Proposal Preparation and Business Development as required.
- Manage GIS projects that are tasked by the GIS Manager, and provide feedback on best plan of action.
- Integrate python scripts and web apps into project workflows.
- Maintain existing ArcEnterprise databases and services.
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills required.
- Facilitate training on hardware and software for field and office staff.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Work in a team environment, follow best practices, and provide QA/QC.
- Mentor other GIS staff.
- Assist the GIS Manager in GIS project management.
- Provide feedback on how to further develop the GIS department.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- BA/BS in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or other program with GIS coursework required
- Minimum 3 years with ESRI ArcGIS experience required
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcOnline and ArcEnterprise environments preferred
- Experience with Mobile Data Collection applications; ESRI ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, Avenza preferred
- Minimum 3 years of project experience in a consulting firm or associated government agency, or an Associates Degree in the applicable field with 5 to 10 years of appropriate project experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to run and/or modify Python scripts used in the processing of geospatial data preferred
- Ability to communicate technical GIS information to non-technical personnel
